This Privacy Policy explains how Nomad Eats LLC (“Nomad Eats,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses and protects information when you visit nomad-eats.com (the “Site”). We collect as little as we need to run the Site and answer your requests, and we never sell personal information.

1. Information we collect

Catering requests. When you submit the form on our Catering page, we collect your name, phone number, email address, and the event details you provide (such as date, location, event type, number of guests, budget and notes).
Messages you send us. If you email or call us, we receive your contact details and whatever you choose to tell us.
Anonymous usage statistics. We count page views and taps on buttons such as “Order online” and “Call”, together with general information such as browser type, device type, country and the page that referred you. These statistics do not use cookies and do not identify you.
Technical data. Like any website, our hosting provider may process your IP address and basic request details to deliver the Site and protect it from abuse.

The Site does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or social media trackers, and it does not take payments.

2. How we use information

To respond to catering requests and other questions, and to plan and confirm events.
To understand which pages and menu items people use, so we can improve the Site.
To keep the Site secure and working properly.
To comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your information for marketing emails, and we do not add you to a mailing list.

3. Service providers

We rely on a small number of trusted providers, each of which handles data under its own privacy policy:

Google stores catering requests in our Google account and delivers them to our Gmail.
Umami provides our cookie-free, anonymous visitor statistics.
Cloudflare hosts the Site.
Clover, our point-of-sale provider, operates our online ordering page. Orders and payment card details are entered on Clover’s page, not on this Site, and are governed by Clover’s privacy policy.
DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grubhub handle orders placed through their apps under their own privacy policies.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We disclose it only to the providers above as needed to run our business, or when required by law.

4. How long we keep information

Catering requests: 1 year from submission, then deleted.
Anonymous visitor statistics: 6 months.
Emails you send us: only as long as needed to respond and keep reasonable business records.

5. Security

The Site is served only over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and the accounts that hold your information are access-restricted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.

6. Your choices and rights

You may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law, including the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act.

7. Children

The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when it last changed, and the current version always lives on this page.
